...that's Jot Singh Khalsa and Julie Warenski, for those who may not have known. This folder was my BIG leap into buying custom knives. I am still happy with my decision. This has very colorful abalone handles, which aren't too busy (as abalone can sometimes get). Jot (pronounced 'Jote') is a wonderful man and he has a *most* recognizable style.

As does the reknowned Julie Warenski, doing her part on the stunning engraving. Notice the texture of the gold! Also, I've still yet to find a more elegant thumbstud.

Why this post? No reason--just because I wanted to do 'justice' to this knife. :)

That loud thud you just heard was my jaw hitting the floor. Oh my, that is a gorgeous knife. Very nice score - Charles

Great looking knife Coop. Those are real abalone scales, the really busy ones are usually the laminates. I tend to perfer the real ones also.

Wow, Coop, what a stunning knife! I bet you never get tired of looking at that one - it's a real tour-de-force gent's folder. And you don't need a reason to post superb photos of excellent knives - I sure love to see them.

All the best,

Roger

Coop you do come up with some beauties. Fantastic score thanks for sharing and this one is off to my drool folder,if ya don't mind.

I used to really like Jot's style. I especially like is small boot knives. They're always very precious. This knife is gorgeous, BTW. If I'm not mistaken, Jot is originally from NY, and converted to the Sikh religion, which, as religions go, is pretty cool, because one of its commandment is to always have a blade on you....

when you got into customs, you really got into them in a big beautiful way. Great looking knife and another terrific photo.
