when i close my Jot Singh which i recently purchased(used), the blade doesn't sit straight. it doesn't seem to rub either liner, but it is very close to the non-lock liner. it almost appears to curve from side to side. i am not 100% sure if it is 100% straight when opened, but it appears to be.

could this be some sort of issue? or is it just the liner pushing on the blade while it is closed? i really like this knife other than this, and i hope it isn't an actual issue. any advice would be appreciated.

also, no abuse seems to have occured to this knife, in case anyone was wondering.

mine closes exactly the same as yours - seems to bend in when closed yet looks straight when opened - a design flaw?? wonder why this knife is discontinued - i really like the way it looks but.......i dont know.......my emerson is heads and tails above it too (emerson CQC-7) ie- look at the liner lock - emerson looks MUCH stronger - look at the fit of the handles- again the emerson - blade alignment and rigidity - emerson - and ya know what? i paid less for the emerson - wow

good to know(i guess) that im not the only one. sorry it is happening, though.

i do like the overall design/execution on this knife. even like the way the handle feels. but i have other knives that seem to be better crafted. so, i know what you're saying.

the only other thing i wish right now was that it was a plain edge...but thats my fault, as i knew it wasn't b4 i bought it, and i just developed a craving for plainedges.

still, just wanna make sure it isn't some critical design flaw that will cause failure on this knife.
