I just received one of these in plain edge and the liner lock suffers from the common problem intrinsic to many locking bars - the locking bar springs all the way to the right of the tang and occasionally springs completely off the tang so that it lies in between the liner and the tang!
My brother's Jot Singh Kalsa does not suffer from these problems. In fact, no matter how hard you flick his knife, the locking bar will always land just to the left of the tang's center...it is perfect.
This knife is one of the most unique Spydercos and its design is truly functional. However, I cannot rely on it's locking mechanism.
Sal, can Spyderco help me out? Also, can I purchase a black clip and screws for this model?
