So, does anyone have any favorites as far as styles/brands or notepads?

I keep a journal but I don't do it the "old-fashioned way", I keep it on my computer. But occasionally I'll write something out by hand and then type it out.

Hot d*mn!

I've seen these in Barnes & Noble but I never really "looked" at them very closely. I'm going to have to go back to that store!!!

Thanks

I've used a bunch of Rite-in-rains over the years but never really liked them. Go figure, they do not accept water-based inks very well so I use them with pencils for stuff I know I wont keep.

If it doesnt go in my PDA I use a lot of 3x5 or 4x6 cards. A couple go into the pocket at the beginning of the day and at the end I can file them in a box if need be. Levenger's for stylish leather holders....

I must have got on the Levenger mailing list somehow, because I just got their catalog. They have a lot of things like that.

Like most people that are serious about them I put everything into my pda (HP Jornada 568), However, sometimes I'm in a situation where it is convienent to do that. Or I just might not be in the mood too do that. That's why I usually carry a notebook along with my pda.

I've been getting, and buying, stuff from Levenger for years. I never bought one of there notebooks. I got a "padfolio" for Christmas a few years ago and I like it a lot. It's bit large to stuff in your pocket though...

After work I went out and bought a small moleskin notbook and I think it is going to work perfectly. It's slightly larger than 3x5 inches, has a hard cover and the paper is smooth as silk! Plus is has a certain mystique about it. (If a notebook can be described that way.)
