Hi everyone!

Here is the second knife I've just completed to use for one of my JS Test knives.

This knife has thirty pieces total, fourteen of them are internal line up pins. The handle is set up in a frame style configuration. The fittings are Silicon Bronze and German Silver. The handle is made from Mammoth Ivory. The 6 1/4" blade is forged from 5160. The overall length is 11" long. The German Silver Liners are 0.032 thick and have Star Burst Pattern File-work on them.

I would also like to thank my brother Caleb for the great picture!

Tell me what you think!

Thanks for looking!

I have already begun to work on the next one which is a D-guard Bowie with a twelve inch blade.

Your work amazes me. Makes me sick I didn't get into this stuff at your age. Best of luck (not that you need it :) ) at Blade!

Outstanding!!!The bronze looks great with the ivory, and the file work on the silver is a really nice touch.

Kyle, Great work .. I knew that you would do well. I took the intro to bladesmithing course in Hope Arkansas with Kyle and he is a dedicated young man to say the least. How was the handles and guards class ?? I would have liked to stay for it as well but work wouldn't allow it at the time.

Hi Louis,

Thanks for the for the complement!

You have some nice knives and hawks on your web-site!

The Handles and Guards class was great! I learned so much. Jim Walker is a great teacher!

Will you be at the Blade Show? If so I'll see you there.

Great looking knife, I like the lines and the style a lot...good luck on getting your JS!

Really neat to see how that one goes together.
Beautifull looking knife also.
Thanks for sharing.
Chris
