I did some cutting tests with my 87 yr. old grandfather and this JSP Kwaiken last night. Did some hanging rope cuts, used 1/2" black and yellow nylon rope. You know the stuff. this cut right through it. More impressive was the way it would cleanly slice two inches into the back (bound side) of a TV Guide. Also it would go through 4 sheets of paper as clean and quick is it did 1 sheet.

It's 3/32" stock with a 5" blade, double zero-ground, black silk
cordwrap over black rayskin, two silver blowfish
menuki, kydex sheath with black sharkskin overlay,
finger-pinch cord, and has the newest generation Associate
Harness.
 
Oh thank God, I had too read that twice... I thought you had been cutting up your Grandad..........;)
 
I was cuttin rope with Arms tonight, that blade is awesome! I saw him cut right through a 70 page catalog like it was a single sheet of paper.
