Hello folks,

I'm rather new at posting here, as you can see from my number of posts. I've been lurking for a little over a year though. Here's the deal, I need to get a new wallet, and have been eyeing the JSP one...I mean, what could be better than a nice wallet that actually carries a knife... Anyhow, whats the thought on this thing? How does it function as wallets go? $25 for a wallet is pretty cheap...heck, $99 for a wallet and a knife isn't bad either.

Thanks,

Ted

Well, there is the Credit Card Blade/Wallet and then there is the Omega Series, which is a large wallet, the size of a checkbook, and it has a neck knife sized blade in it. That one is about $125.00 if I remember correctly.

There is something else coming out soon though. I will find out some more about that shortly. When it is going to be released.

Don,

The one I am thinking of is the Credit Card Blade/Wallet. I'm just looking to find out how well it works. If it sacrifices anything being that it carries a blade in it. That sort of thing.

Thanks for the info,

Ted

It sacrifices NOTHING.

It carries my ID, credit cards and money like any normal wallet should. People see it every day when I buy my coffee and they suspect NOTHING.
Its not a fighting knife. Its for situations where you need an advantage and a distraction that the bad guy can not ignore.

I carry my CCBwallet on my left side. When home in my state, a glock on my right. In school, its usualy blades, IWB or waved emersons.

I am stopped and the bad guy demands money (no gun present, but I'm out numbered), I get my wallet with my left, index my finger on the clip and pass it to attacker with my right hand. The knife is black and almost invisible in the dark. As I hand him the wallet with my right, suddenly he has a deep cut on his face or his throat is cut.

CCB gets dropped and a bigger knife/glock comes out in the confusion and then we take it from their.

One second the bad guys are in control, the next all hell breakes loose cause BG#1 is bleeding, #2 got punched and the victim has this long second knife which came out of nowhere with a phycotic grin on his face grabbing at #3 looking like Hannible from the movies...

CCB is not a fighting knife, its a knife that can come out fast and furious and create an opening, but it is not the first one I reach for if I have the chance.

Let me chime in and say that I took the plunge some time ago and I LOVE my JSP wallet/CC knife.

In my eyes it's a "Must have" for anyone serious about defense. I don't think I can say that about any other item. No matter what I wear, what I carry or where I might go, my JSP wallet and CC knife is there if I need it.

The only things I would change (and I've said it before here) is I would make it a hair roomier in the ID/Business card pockets and the clip would be a tad flatter. Other then that, it's PERFECT.

Ssssshhhh...He made the new ones a little roomier, the ones that are coming out. And something to do with the clip to make it more comfy is about read as well...but without changing the profile of the clip.

Thanks folks,

Thats exactly the kinda info I was looking for. Right now I have a standard leather wallet with a small knife in it for cutting open boxes and stuff like that. My wife still doesn't know why I just don't use my other knives for openning boxes...oh well. Anyhow, Don, you said a new version...when are the new ones coming out?
