Not sure what to call this fine blade, but it's right up my alley! (Does someone recognize this from the 'Antique Bowie Knives Book'?) Don't know the specs, but it's probably about 12" OAL.
This is a knife currently offered for sale and display by Gary Shaw, and I asked him at the ABS show if I could take some pics. I just love this knife! He was quite happy to have me do this and I promised him a worthy pic for the trouble. Gary has always treated me with much openness and fairness.
Of course it has all my busy little windows, but this knife needs to be shown it's details. Not much work is out there for the talented Mr. Brennan, but whenever I've seen his work I love it. Make sure tyou take a good look at this if you happen upon Gary's table sometime soon.
