Been looking at another multi-tool. Oh, I know everyone is drooling over the new Charge Ti and XTi, I am too and may still get one. But for my needs, the Juice S2 looks to have what I use the most. However, I'm not sure even the Juice S2 is really small enough to ride in my pocket.

Anyone have the S2 and would you care to comment on it?

Thanks,
Mike

I like mine, I put a lanyard on it a hooked to my belt loop.keeps it upright.I also have the Wave for my belt. I would buy the larger one if I had the use for it.The Juice is a lighter weight tool.

My standard may be somewhat different from yours, but I find the S2 to be easily small and light enough for comfortable pocket carry. It's a nice versatile multi-tool that gives up very little functionality to its smaller size.

On the other hand, I wouldn't want to push one too hard. They aren't bad, but the Juice models are not built as tough as their larger bretheren. Personally, if I want something that size, I'll go for the SOG CrossGrip. It is smaller and has fewer functions, but I trust its pliers to stand up under more abuse.

I can carry an XE6 "sort of" comfortably in pocket, but I prefer a sheath, the S2 should be no problem unless you have a small frame.

The crossgrip is good (and smaller), as long as you don't need the needle nose plier shape and scissors. Personally, I think the juice pliers can hold their own, and the implements are better.
I see the juice as "in-between" the micra/crossgrip size and the Wave/Powerlock size, a nice balance of size and functions.

When I carry the juice tools they ride in the watch pocket of my wranglers jeans. It keeps the tool readily available but out of the way. As for the strength of the tool, I would agree it is somewhere between the keyring tool and the four inch models. It's size is between the two as well. It will definitely not hold up to the pressure you could place on the four inch tools because the pliers are thinner. If you work on electronic equipment it is ideal if you work on heavy wire it is not. Hope this helps

either clipped to my belt or in the small clip on sheath it came with. Best of the juice series, I think

I had a S2 but abandoned it for the XE6 which I find I can carry comfortably in dress pants. I just missed too many blades on the XE6 that I did not have on the S2 like the file, the awl and the extra knife blade.

I carried the S2 for close to a year. Didn't have any problems with it and would definetly recomend it. Currently I'm carrying the KF4. My wife has the S2. She wanted something with scissors and I was missing Leatherman's diamond file (used to carry a Wave).

A great office tool. I've been carrying one in my shirt pocket every day for quite a while.

Yes Yes, these Juice are the best office tools.
