Hey folks, just thought I'd share with you my idea of the now perfect travel tool. I'm not very handy but a few minutes with the dremel and I made one of my favorite Juice S2's into a 6 cm Sheapsfoot. Much easier than I thought.

Just understand that it can meet ALL requirements...to the letter of the rule , however, the Nazi...I mean TSA workers have total authority when it comes to what gets on a plane. I had a micro Leatherman I de- bladed. They said the scissors were too pointy. 7 inch scissors were legal and no where did it say anything about the "pointy ness" of the scissors but they took they anyway???? You have two choices argue with them and not get on the plane or leave it and go on your way. Just a word of caution.

Roger that. I'll make my first trip with both a copy of the TSA guideline a padded self addressed stamped envelope just in case.

Yeah, from my understanding, there are the TSA rules but also the TSA can still take the knife away even if they thought you looked suspicious or how you look.

The TSA rules are guidelines, not exactly rules.

How about a bladeless skeleton juice?

Wow, thank goodness they're still banning "molded grips"! Imagine all of the stabbings that would happen with 2.36" non-locking blades if they had molded grips! Before the TSA existed I got into at least one knife fight on every round-trip... (end sarcasm)

Hey, progress is progress so I guess I shouldn't be complaining.

Edited to add: good mod jleephoto. I apprehensively clicked the link expecting to hear a story about how you lost this excellent tool to the TSA, which would have been tragic.

Yeah I suppose they think that the Jihadist, realizing he could cut nick his finger without a lock or molded grips, will just scrap his whole evil plan. I guess now they'll have to profile for people with kevlar gloves. I'm happy for progress but some some odd reason keep hoping that reason will be applied. But, that never seems to happen with our Govt. or major bureaucracies.
