...I tried, fellas, but I just couldn't do this one. Felt the need to give a heads up. Very nice fella, too. I've dealt with him before.

1999 Devin Thomas Raindrop Damascus with a unique graphic. Box, wrench, sheath and papers. $495. This must be one of just a very, very few, and the only Damascus Umfaan I've seen for sale in at least a year.

On that note, there are A LOT of knives for sale now...seems like a superb time to buy.

Sorry you did not get it MC. I was pulling for you. I do hope the guy can eventually post a pic or two. I'd really like to see that Umfaan.
PS: Don't feel too bad. I could not work out a trade for the Lignum Mnandi either. :( ;)

Hi folks,
Thanks Mellow Chaos and Trane Fan for the good word here 'bout the umfaan on "the other" forum! Sorry we couldn't "strike a deal," looking forward to the next time we can "parley a deal!" Truly, love those umfaans, just have one too many for now!!!

Trane...I was trying to come up with the cash, but the CC bills and spring product intros are coming to a crescendo. I think Lake will sell it soon, but us working fools are just having a little bit of a tough time coming up with funds now.

Can't believe this, but I just bought the Damascus Umfaan. I hope I can retire on rare and unusual Chirs Reeve knives.

Me, too ;)

Enjoy the knife, it is a good time to buy, everybody was selling to fund trips to Vegas!

Yea!! Good for you MC! Post a pic or two when you get a chance. ;) ;)

Good on you! Although it is not a good habit to get into, I always like when getting something you really want overrides the "common sense" aspect. ENJOY your rare and hard to come by Umfaan!!
Steve
