Hi all !
This is my newest outdoors blade ! It started as a blade blank and a friend of mine made that nice handle and convexed the very edge of the blade :) The blade itself is 5'' long,handforged from Silversteel.The blade has a romb profile - it's thickest at the middle - a massive 8 mm ! The back is 6 mm.But the grind is quite wide and it's an excellent slicer ! It's a very strong knife ;) I like it a lot :thumbup:

Fatwood used as a tinder and a little birch bark to keep the flame going ;) Lighter was a firesteel and striker - an Opinel :)

I forgot to take a puicture of the coolest part of the handle - the end of the tang is hammered on the end of a .357 Magnum brass shell - it looks awsome !!! :thumbup:
 
Very very nice. :thumbup: One of his blades (blank) will probably be my next purchase.
