Jul07 Leek... 13c26???

So I've been using my Leek again after buying (lost it for a while) it long ago. And it just doesn't seem to perform like I think 13c26 should. It dulls too fast. It'll still accept a very nice edge, but dang... it just won't last.

It's marked w/ a BOD of Jul07. So Thomas, is there a chance that this one got out w/ the old steel??
 
I guess there could be a chance that the steel is 440A, it's also possible that the HT on your blade was not optimum as well. If you feel up to it, you could send the knife back to the factory, and we will analyze the steel and at the same time flip you out a new Leek. Sorry for the issue.
 
Thanks for the offer Thomas. I've got a ZDP and the original Random leeks and I'm going to get the new 14c28 Random. So I think I'll keep it as is.
