This year seems to be flying by. I am trying to fill orders as well as trying to get a few knives together for The Guild show and Chicago show. I am also planning to attend Rick Hinderer's USN get together after the Guild Show.

I am currently forging my first competition cutting knife for the Guild show. I will start a thread in a few days on the anatomy of a competition knife. I have been shooting pics of the knife in it's different stages. It should be a great thread.

I will be cutting back on the Maringer and Ehlers designs because I just do not have enough time in the day to make all of thse designs. I will be taking orders on them as custom designs with 6-8 month delivery times.

I need to focus on the Brend/Branton Marauder folders that I started a little over a year ago. I have two that have to go to Germany and I have a few that will be going to Blade Art, then I will be working on the rest of my order list. In addition to the folders, I will be focusing mainly on the Branton/Brend mid tech line and I will start on two new folder designs. These will take up most of my time.

I may forge a few knives to break the monotony and will probably add a few forged Japanese tacticals that I have wanting to make for a while.

I want to thank everyone for their continued support and I hope that you will like some of the new knives that I will be working on.

Do you have any plans to make the bare-bones knife (brend design) that you asked about a couple months ago?

I may do a small run at some point. The people at Blade that we spoke with seemed to want some sort of handle on it.

Trying to prepare for three shows back to back while filling orders in between has been rough on me these past couple of months. I'll be posting an update after the Chicago show in September.
