I think I have my heart is set on a MudTrutle, just waiting on my turn in the pass around to confirm!

It looks like a nice utility blade, but the only smaller knife I have my eye on is the neck knife. If money didn't matter I'd just order them all!

If you mean the Necker like mqqn just got, the only way I would offer that is without the handle holes or with handles.

I remember making three of the exact knife in the same week. You, mqqn, and jds1.

Yes I think mine was the only Scandi grind of the three. The burl has a nice dark patina from use and I polished the scandi into a kind of "scandivex" edge. She's a beauty that only gets better with age.

Those dark lines that look like scratches near the tip are actually the reflection of branches on the tree over my head when I took that pic.

Any chance someone has a comparison pic they could post with this and either a Bluegill or an Element EDC? Outdoorsfan that's a great looking blade. I'm torn between it and a Bluegill after seeing the recent ones.

I believe outdoorsman and jds1 have both of them, maybe one of them will post a picture.

I just moved last weekend so we are still unpacking and organizing. I will see if I can get them out for a pic this weekend.

I got to try out Outdoorsfan's FIeldmate once upon a time, one fo the most comfortable short knives to hold, glad to see she's still holding up well, buddy ;)
