I've seen a very few GIGANTIC knives over the years. Advertising purposed as far as I know.

Has Buck ever created such a monster?

A pic from 2010 OKCA showing a friendly exhibitor with a huge beast of a different marquee for your amusement:

The Scimitar WBC made for the Post Falls Grand Opening comes to mind.

The only two that I know about are Scimitars. Hoyt Buck built one in the 1940's and WBC built a copy for the ribbon cutting in Post Falls, ID
Heath

It would be terrific to see a photo of these humungous Scimitars in hand. Somebody somewhere has them.

I've seen the photo of Chuck with that knife in hand from a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Post Falls plant. It may be in that newspaper from 2004. DM

Outstanding!

Post #5 of the above link, Longbow's, has Hoyt Buck holding the colossal Scimitar.

I now have a new desktop background of this photo. Notice the equipment hanging on the wall. He worked magic with those tools.

Wow. Ask here and you shall receive. Thank you kindly members.

Notice the subject of the article was making knives from files. That scimitar must have been one humongous file!

I think I remember hearing that scimitar got stolen out of the office at Buck:confused: :thumbdn: what a drag.

Back a bunch of years ago Wilde Bill Cody made a giant model 401 Kalinga. The knife was signed by a bunch of employees and then given to our Sales/Marketing guy at the time. I havent seen that knife in years but remember that it is at least 2 feet long.
I would love to see that one again!
