In the thick bush, where/how do most of you guys attach your blades to your packs? My jump proof has come unsnapped a few times, I think due to snagging it on the thick, and I don't want to lose it. Should I just use the molle locks? I've even tried attaching the RC4 to different locations on the pack. As my RC-3 is on my hip and my Pink Zu is on my neck, the RC4 gets the beating as I like to keep it on the outside of my pack.

How have you been attaching it?
Since you're talking about an RC4 and the "snap" coming loose, I'm assuming you're using the MOLLE back?

If so, it sounds like you're just looping the strap through the webbing on the pack and snapping it at the bottom. If that's true, then that's why you are having it come loose. You have to thread the strap over the web on the pack, then under the web on the MOLLE back, and keep threading it through like that all the way to the bottom and then snap it. If you've done that, I don't see how it could come off.

ETA: Here's a pic of what I mean off the RAT Cutlery website sheath page

You're right. I've been doing it the wrong way.:o
Thanks for the heads up. Don't tell the wife my inability to read instructions has hosed me again.

Good looking out Cpl!

Does that molle back also has a normal belt loop??

Yes, you can either thread the belt through the velcro top which prevents the sheath from sliding around, or you can thread it through that MOLLE strap which goes under another strap near the top, so it becomes an (approximate) 2" opening; perfect for a belt.
