June Pointer of the Pointer Sisters RIP

They were to play here in Clearwater, FL , but I noticed when I went out Saturday night to go to the Threshers baseball game we passed where they were to perform http://www.rutheckerdhall.com/ and on the scrolling display board it said the show was cancelled....Now I know why.

This is a real shame. I'll never forget their mid-80's album ... "Break Out". I likely wore out the vinal on that one.
 
That bites. They were great. Sang a lot of back up for a lot of folks and never got their props.

She will be missed.:(
