I have not set a firm date for the sale, but it will be sometime in the second half of June. There will be some old "retro models", in the sale, like the Phoenix, Trapline, and maybe even an E.W.O.K. or two.

Anybody have any thoughts on me offering these models that can't be ordered anymore? There will also be a few more smaller designs offered.

I think offering up some of the older line up is a Great idea. I haven't seen any up for grabs and it would be interesting to see the "New Bloods" (myself included) of this sub forum react to comparatively uncommon knives.
On top of that, we have only heard of these knives spoken of in hushed tones of "around the fire one night" or "do you remember" talks...

I think it that some of the newer people here would be appreciative of seeing the scope of your catalog being available for grabs.

Just because you make a knife for the "June sale" doesn't mean it has to go for less then what you deem reasonable by the second week of July.

Make a sticky section of knives that you are sitting on in here and post the link in the "custom makers/for sale" once a month with a few photos. Just because it doesn't sell in here, doesn't mean someone won't want it for near your asking price instead of having 2-3 price drops on the one that doesn't sell.

No pattern for the TTSK, but the Pocket Scandi is a possibly. I'm hoping this idea catches on.

I found this pic in my search for a JK pocket scandi. 2nd from the top. Pocket bowie? is 3rd down...pretty cool looking knife! How about far right knife? I'm a new guy, so I find all of these knives interesting. Would definitely be interested John if you started offering some older models. Sometimes $$ n timing is the only thing holding me back. Case in point...the recent ironwood personal camp knife...if offered the following week I would of snatched it up. But that's part of the fun of it:-)

That trapline looks nice, like a shorter version of the crooked creek with a contoured handle.

The subtle curve of the Trapline had a heavy influence when I designed the CC. It was my most used JK before the CC.
I even took it with me on my trip to Yellowstone a couple years ago.

I'm glad to see it making a reappearance. One of the best JK Knives so far, in my opinion. Sean did a great job designing it and John did a great job of pulling it off.

That is a great looking knife ... I love the slight curved heel of the handle it looks like you could use it for hours and it would melt into your hand.

I'm thinking I might do a few small "tactical style" knives, maybe even a Mini Commando.
