Anyone have any experience with Junghans quartz watches in general and their quartz chronographs in particular?

The ones I'm interested in are this model and this one.

How many seconds do they gain or lose per month? I heard that Junghans quartz clock movements are generally very accurate.

How durable are they and especially their leather straps? Does the glass scratch easily?

Please skip the "go automatic" recommendations. No offense to collectors/fans of automatic watches, but I want my clocks to keep time without daily readjustments.

As I continue on my quest for the perfect watch for my needs, several new questions arise...

Does anybody know anything about Boccia watches? Never heard of them before, but I certainly like the looks of this titanium chronograph they make. Well-made bang for the buck or overpriced low quality stuff?

Or maybe a TISSOT T-Classic XXL? Do they live up to their, as far as I can tell, very good reputation? The TISSOT would be the most expensive ("expensive" being a relative term, considering that many of you guys own Breitlings, Sinns and Omegas) watch among the ones I linked to in this thread, but if it's worth the money, it might become my first choice.

I'd also like to hear your opinions on Festinas.

I have a Seiko quartz chronograph similar to the style you are looking at. Mine has a black face with gold detail. I can recommend them without reservation. It is 16 years old, is worn 24/7 and still has the original black finish and gold detail on the metal strap. The watch is pretty well second perfect and is only changed when the clocks change in Spring and Autumn. I am the sort of person that wants the minute hand on the hour when the Greenwich time signal goes off on the radio (in the UK). The batteries last about 4 years. If you send the watch to Seiko for service you get a certificate signed by the man who serviced it! Apart from batteries and two services, I have replaced one glass face after I tripped down some stairs in in my bar and scraped the face on a rough stone wall.

I thought Junghans was only famous for its electronic auto time signal setting?

Thanks for your reply. In case anyone's interested, I bought this Festina chronograph and so far I'm totally satisfied. Looks nice and classy, but it also appears to be pretty robust and it's 10 atm waterproof.

Junghans is a traditional German manufacturer, the time signal setting is just part of their fame - they also invented solar watches.
