I have TKC handle scales on my Esee Junglas and I loctited all of my screws with blue loctite.

Just went camping hand used the Junglas for quite a bit of batoning and the screws loosened to the point the scales were shifting.

I even made sure to degrease the screws before applying and the loctite was not expired.

I don't want to use the red, and I've never had this problem before.

I may try again with the blue loctite, but has anyone had better luck with some of the other removable thread fasteners?

Read the following and I believe you'll find the answer to your problem. Did you happen to use Blue 242? This is a primerless product and won't work on inactive surfaces (likely black oxide screws I imagine -- these are inactive)

"You can get by using a primerless product on Brass, Copper, Bronze, and Mild Steel, but Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium, and anything that has been anodized or black oxide coated are inactive surfaces and require the use of either a primered product or a separate primer."

I switched to. Vibratite VC-3 thread mate. You put it on the threads, let it dry before assembly. It holds strong is easy to disassemble doesn’t leach anywhere. The best part it is reusable and adjustable.

Have you ever bought something and the mounting screws had dried red threadlock on them already?
