TODAY WAS AWESOME!!!!

First off the USPS guy brought me my new new Maxpedition Versapack Jumbo (AWESOME!) and my Junglas (NOW THATS A KNIFE!!!) :D

The Versapack is actually khaki not green.... will be taking the Junglas to meet some of the cedar behind my house tomorrow!!

Then I made a trip to the local mexican market and bought some awesome fajitas to grill and the 5 helped me out.... I decided the Junglas was overkill for this, anyway without delay....fajitas!

Bacon!!!!!!!!

Versapacks are awesome.. I have the LEO version, and it's serving me well on short outtings, and short hikes :) Carries a good bit of snacks and water, and whatever knife and firestarter I want.... and it wears pretty comfortably too.. :)

I have that same maxpedition pack. I've used mine for over a year and it's still looking like new. I love the fact that I can carry concealed in it when my clothes don't permit me to carry. It's a great pack.

Post up pictures of what all you put in it when you load it up.

yeah I will be posting pictures of the pack sometime soon. I have loaded so far with......

Browning Hi-power and 3 mags
ESEE 5
Surefire G2
Kleen Kanteen 27 oz
Gerber Multitool
Zippo
Basic first aid kit
Note pad
Pens
Sharpies
Cigar Cutter
Nikon 8-24X small binoculars
Shemagh

Still have quite a bit of room for a couple snacks and a few other things. anything huge I am missing here that could be useful? this was basically everything I tend to have in my 4runner that comes in handy from time to time.

Dang Rob, now im hungry. Looks good, I think i need 1, wheres your firestarter that Zippo will be good for your fine cigars, but you dont want it to dry up and be stranded with no fire source for heat or fine Smoke.:D

My wife just got her CWP and needed a "Purse" that she could carry with. I bought her the same pack as a Christmas gift. She loves it. Holds her Walther, flashlight, water bottle and all other crap that women typically carry.

You should check out the "Janus" extension. I find it really useful to store your wallet/cell phone if you are taking a short hike around the woods or if you are around a huge crowd (had my wallet picked when I was a kid).

What you can't see is I also have a medium sized rolly polly on there too.

that janus extension looks pretty cool.... also side note I just went and did a few chops with the Junglas on some cedar branches that were getting way to close to the AC.... wow that things really does some damage. Cant wait to walk it a little farther away from the house so I can really see what it can do

+1 on the Maxpedition Versipack Jumbo - my wife calls it my "Tactical Man Purse"

I've been able to stuff quite a bit of gear in there... amazing how much it can hold.

A contractor bag, some zip ties, para-cord all come in handy and have multiple uses.
