I just revieved my Junglas in the mail today and when i was looking it over i realized i could see tiny grooves where the "rowen" and "made in usa" etchings are. Im not sure if this is normal or an issue with the heat treat (metal grain). has anyone else seen this or had an issue with this. Im emailing esee with this question as well. I am going to try to take pictures but my camera skills arent that great and i dont know if i will be able to get them to show up in a photo. any thoughts? thanks alot

That's the beauty of the warranty. you don't have to guess if it will work, take it out prove it works, and put your fears to bed. :D there is no guess work with that warranty.

I own 11 esee knives, in every pattern but the 6.

6 of them have little grooves in the laser etching. It's nothing to be concerned about.

wow. major props to Jeff. he responded to my email not even 5 min after i sent it. he says and i quote..."Laser etching actually burns the powder coat and sometimes it will leave very small marks on the lettering". I have never experiaced cutomer service like this before....just....wow.

No go out and use that knife! You'll forget about those marks once you start cutting and giving the love marks to the coating. Have fun!
