Junglas Review

Thanks for the links TTD, that's a good vid showing the capabilities of the Junglas. I would have probably passed out before chopping through that log! I checked out the website and read the review which was also pretty good.
If I could offer some constructive criticism to James (if he reads this post) the only thing I'd suggest would be that he has someone proof read his articles before posting to catch the grammatical and punctuation errors. Otherwise an A+ job!

I carried mine on a 4 day hiking trip last month.I was sold on it the first night preparing our firewood with it.It held a great edge even with all the hard work.

Pretty much echoed my sentiment here. Thanks for taking the time to review it. It is great to see such a sweet blade in action. Proofreading however, would make the article much easier to read.

just got my junglas and i gotta say its awesome!!great handle, razor sharp edge and very pointy tip.i dont know what it is but some mfgs dont put a sharp pointy tip on their big choppers.but esee does and i love that.and the sheath is custom made quality,,very nice!esee is quickly becoming my favorite brand:thumbup::thumbup:

Impressive. I keep telling myself to get one of these.

Yeah I've been telling myself that since I heard about them. It'll probably be a little while though since I recently purchased a Jerry Hossom Forester which is almost the same size. I got it for about $125 (almost half the off the regular price) when I got a tip on them being on sale. I also just ordered a Lite Machete on the weekend from T-K-C.

You're welcome! Yeah I find that the errors tend to take away from the level of professionalism and credibility of the person, and in this case, their website. People tend to not take someone as serious when they see basic errors like that. Again, I'm just pointing it out so hopefully James has the opportunity to get it proof read and re-post the corrected version. It will only improve the site and all his work associated with it.
I guess it may just be the world we live in now, where people have grown accustomed to abbreviating their words in email, forum posts and especially texting.

lol yes james sees all haha this is James and i would like to apologize for any imperfections in the writing as i have said many times I'm not a writer i am just a guy like most people who like the outdoors and wanted to put my thoughts down on a review. i do try and get it right but between me and Microsoft word we don't catch everything and having dyslexia it some times makes it hard to get wording and writing right and its funny i have gone over that dam review like 6 times as i do for all the review trying to get them right but i guess i will have to get some help with that but thank you so much for checking out our reviews and website and i hope i can get it perfect in the future as i do like to try and please everyone:)

Hey James/Buddha,
glad you took the criticism positively. As I stated before, my only reason for mentioning this was to point out how you can make your site even better so I'm glad you didn't take it as me dissing you or your website. I think you're doing a great job so far and I was just throwing in my 2 cents on how you can improve it.
Cheers and keep up the good work bud!

Peace!

thanks man and I'm making plans to have someone check that stuff out before i post but i am happy that you guys like the review anyways means alot thanks guys!:D

I was resisting the thought of the Junglas until I watched the video. Man that was impressive. A lot of work but impressive. Damn now I have to start thinking about saving for one. These ESEEs are so addictive. I enjoyed reading the review too.

Thank you sir that means alot to us here at www.candianwildernesssurvival.com we try to bring the best and show you how it looks and let you know how it works so you can make the choice about buying one i know when it comes to buying stuff i can never find good photos that are up close to give me a good idea at what i am buying online so that's what i try to do with the reviews between the photos and the review i like to point out what is good and what sucks about the product so you can make up your mind to buy one too and thank you very much for checking out our site its greatly appreciated:D

Finally got out for a hardcore campout this weekend and my Junglas stole the show. Dropped some widowmakers, limbed them, and chopped into firewood. What a knife (chopper) !!! Two of my fellow campers had choppers with them and there was no comparison to the Junglas.Even they admitted to that fact. This knife is definitely part of my camp gear from here on out. Sorry no pics-I didn't even think of a camera until I was there. Great shooting, fire building, bushcraft weekend though. :D
