Quick question I was wondering this morning while resisting the tentation to order the knife..

Is there enough space to mount 2 accessory pouch on the junglas sheath ?
I have the option to buy the knife without sheath for cheaper and the iron work foot long became a possible option for me.

Judging by the length of the blade I am tempted to say yes. But you will need confirmation from owners. Mine are still in transit

There is plenty of room on the Junglas Kydex sheath but the current pouch we sell for the RC5/6 does not mount on the Junglas since the Junglas Kydex sheath is considerably wider than the RC5 and RC6 sheaths. But soon we will have the ability to mount multiple pouches or whatever else you want on the Junglas kydex sheath.

Man, talk about a kill-em-all-let God-sort-em-out type of kit. You mount two pouches on that thing and you'd have everything you need.

I was thinking something of the sort. As long as I have the Junglas on me, I have everything I need on the sheath.

Thank you very much for the info.

When I get back to canada from Germany .. i'll order my junglas and owning 2 accessory pouch already, I'll try to paracord it solid to the wider junglas kydex. Wider or not, as long as its long enough to allow the bottom accessory pouch to open and get the tin out.

Good news. I shall keep my eyes open for that.

and here I was considering a molle pouch around the size of a barnacle or anemone and using the molle locks from my esee3 & izula kits to hang them off the front of the junglas sheath -- but pouches built to fit could be a better option.

The Junglas a piggyback knife and however many pouches you can fit on there could be a full on survival kit with massive capability. The possibilities with that machete knife are endless.

that will be awesome. i have a spare two-point rifle sling with two quick disconnect points that's perfect for carrying the junglas. add in my edc metal can inside the pouch and it can serve as a bare bones hiking gear.

I'm sure you could anchor the pouches with one screw, and paracord the rest done and have a decent kit.

Two altoids tins, wedge an izula or hest, wrap some para around the open spaces, get a ESEE firekit in that puppy, counterbalance the other side of your belt with either a cinderblock or a bottle of scotch, and man..... what aren't you ready for? My RAT pack may have a run for it's money as my top grab and go kit.

The Junglas simply makes love to your hand. That handle felt like it sucked my hand into it the first time I grabbed it. I'd love to know what methods you guys use and the process for designing handles. Every one of your knives is just amazing feel, and they keep getting insanely better. I've been trying to rehandle my Condor Viking, and the experience has simply led me to invent new curse words, and truely appreciate the art you all have mastered.

I'm liking the HEST mounted on this thing. Probably going to add a leg strap to it. I'm trying to decide how to get a pouch or two mounted on here and keep the knife. Only items I'd like to add to the kit are a pocket chainsaw, a widgey, and probably an SAK. Might try mounting the HEST on the back, opening up the front for pouches. So many ideas.

Nice project.. im aiming at something like that (oh btw, i couldnt wait to come back from Germany, Junglas is already ordered). You are planning on belt carry this kit with a leg strap Dizwolf ? [and the bottle of booze on the other side, off course]

Unless I mount a regular accessory pouch on 1 side and paracord the other.. i'll mount a maxpedition janus since it fit a LOT of stuff. Maybe fit the junglas kydex throught the front side of the Janus and use the molle strap in the back of the pouch to mount the small knife.. which would give a lot of room higher the sheath for ranger bands and the rest (if for some reason i bring 50lbs of gear in the Janus and need to fix something else higher the junglas sheath)

Perfect flawless fit with the lite machete (until Mike and Jeff come with the new bigger junglas accessory pouch)

That is very similar to what I did HERE:

Only I didn't think of adding the ranger bands. I did add about 15 foot of para-cord, But the ranger band idea is great! I also like the idea of the Janus. That would give me a reason for finally buying one.

The H.E.S.T. and Junglas pair together nicely.

The Janus is a hot little pack. I've got one on my maxxie, and my gf uses hers as an iv kit. I'm 99% sure I'm going to back mount the hest, and see where I go from there. Gonna run it as belt carry for fire duty, hiking it'll get pack mounted. It's funny, I checked earlier tonight and every esee blade fit under the Janus, but didn't think to try the junglas. Good call

you can mount 2 pouches on the Junglas ,man you may need a should sling for afterwards :D..... the Janus pouch on the Lite machete works flawless as in prior post...
