I'm thinking of getting the TankBuster with Jungle Camo blade & Black-Green G10 handles. Anyone have this color combo on any other knife that they can show a picture of?

Probably won't find that color combo on a previous Busse. I can't think of any other offering that had those options. I'd be worried that the greens would clash.

Here ya go...

They work well together.

Well that didn't take long to prove me wrong. Thanks Jaxx...didn't remember the HG55s being offered with black & green g10. Wouldn't you think the black & green g10 on the TB will have a much darker green based on the pics on the BC website, similar to the bottom BATAC in this pic?

Here's another... This combo on the CGFBM did 'clash' a little bit as the green shades on the blade were more towards the yellow side of green while the green in the handle was more towards the blue side.

The HG55 looks really good, hoever, and would be the better comparison as it just arrived here last week whereas the FBM is now several years old, and the Blk/Grn G-10 now has less of a blue tint to it.

(Old pic, taken quickly when I had it for sale. Shot indoors. I believe that it still lives in Brazil now. :))

I don't think so... The Black/Green G-10 on those BATACs still had a bluish tint to them like the older Blk/Grn G-10, and the newer version of this G-10 seems to be more...Geen. :) The handle pic on thed website shows a lot of black in it also, but remember that these handle materials will vary from 'sheet' to 'sheet' (the large pieces that the handles are machined from). I think that the combo will look good, and I may try it again, myself. Who knows? One suggestion is to wait awhile, and then call in to Busse and ask if any others have been made, and how did they look? Or... Beg Jerry to post a pic here on the Forums!! :D

Thanks a lot guys, for the quick pics & the insight on what to consider.

KWR - if you decide to pull the trigger on the jungle camo/black & green g10...please make sure to post pics when it arrives. With the different look of the newer black & green g10 (as Jaxx has pointed out), I'm definately changing my thinking on this color combo:thumbup:

I'm pretty sure Jerry posted a pic of this combo in one of the main Tank Buster threads and it looked great. I could be wrong though.

 That's the best looking HG55 I've seen so far! :D

G D !!!!!! that one looks good.

Thanxx, guys! It's my favorite of the 3 CG HG55s I got, too. :D:thumbup:
