Jungle coating

I believe the green coating is something new all together, neither the "desert" style or the "crinkle" style.

Nonononono.... you've got me all wrong. I'm not just another giver or "a giver"... I am The Giver.:D

Jerry posted in the Buffalo Soldier thread that it is nearly the same as the black crinkle coat.

The stabilized black palm is cross cut so that the ends of the fibers show up nicely. It has some texture but it isn't really rough.

Nice knife mhawg. That wood sure does clean up nice.

I was referring (in jest) to Black Palm in it's "raw" form. Ask any vet you know who ever deployed to Panama (or elsewhere in Central America) about Black Palm. I guarantee you'll hear nothing but horror stories and will likely learn some "new" words along the way. :D

I did my tour in '67', sorta... Actually I was in military school at the time and Black Palm meant having Cadet boot black striped down your hand for not saluting or bracing senior personnel in the hall. That was enough military for me and since I didn't get drafted to scenic southeast Asia I've stayed civilian.
