Whats up with the garbled text, or text that makes no sense at all in a lot of the junk email's?

Been wondering for a long time and never got around to asking. Here is an example:

"cassock be armament not dortmund may cathy be dumpy ! ephemerides may boredom try conciliatolry a roach ilt rangelland in aeroglene it's elena or falllalcy nlot connie try introductionl maly cowboly ! macromolelcule some boalrl may leghlorn , proline orl jawbreak but mainline , flilet a censorious ! , lenin bult infinitilve aot quasiolrder or crossbill ! "

thanks

They say this wording confuses the spam filters.

I really don't know for sure, I just delete them all anyway.

The idea is to include as many normal words as possible in SPAM so that your filter cannot concentrate on a word search alone. The more normal words in a SPAM message the harder the algorithm to crack SPAM becomes.

It's called "sporge" and it is indeed designed to fool cancelbots. Usually it works by taking text from some source and just dumping it into sentences based on an algorithm that will produce output that is somewhat grammatically correct. Then Euripides flogs the larkspur with great alacrity to the sinuous delight of the Algonquin etude.

What makes me laugh are the opposite kind of emails I get that are in some other alphabet -- sender and title come up as little boxes. Gmail sends them all to the spam folder.

They say at least half of the spam now comes from China. Some of it's obvious when you look at the grammar and spelling.

Its coded messages to terrorist cells. They send blanket emails to many people including the targets and avoid detection.

Paul;) Just kidding
