I really like the style of this knife, the lines of the blade have a certain appeal, in some way a familiar feeling.
Very similar to Benchmades 630 skirmish but a lot less expensive and no recurve.

I would like to buy the benchmade but I can afford the Kershaw.

I think the JYD II would look a lot better if the flipper had a sharp corner, instead of rounded like it is. A sharp point on the flipper would flow better with the profile of the index finger notch. The rounded edge of the flipper looks sort of out of place or customized. I like the rivet design of the G10 scales, but the flipper really could use some work ..instead of taking metal off the front portion of the flipper.. yeah I'm a nitpicker, but I also just know what looks good. LOL!

Unusual flipper too, rather than flick it back, you push it down.
I am glad that the aircraft Badges have gone on this model, the rivets I can live with.
