Thinking about buying a Junkyard dog, the smaller 3" blade model, good choice? Tell me about them if you have had any experience, and thanks.
 
I have the larger Junkyard Dog II and it has super fit and finish. Really sharp and I really like the blade shape. I think the smaller one would be a great choice as well. You might have better luck getting opinions in the Kershaw forum over in the Manufacturers section.
 
you think the large ones will carry heavy. but they dont. either one is a great buy for the $$$ but the JYD2 comes in more "flavors" if you will. 13c26 is a great steel either way. :D :D get it!
 
I like em a lot. I have the JYD II SG2. Carries smaller than the knife IMHO.
 
I think this is one of The Knife of the year if not decade.
It has excellent design, very good edge holding (thanks to Sandvic), perfect ergo and just looks great!

Great little knife. Feels good in the hand and as others have mentioned, the
13C26 is a great steel to work with. Get it!! You'll love the little Dawg.
