The other day while on FB, I saw an annoucment by the good folks of Busse, that in the movie there will be a Busse of some sort, and it can be seen in the trailer.

Here is the trailer.

towards the end of the trailer I can see a sword tied to the back of the guy, so my guess is that will be the Busse in question.
Hard to tell what it is exactly though.

Maybe an AK? Maybe the debut of a new AK style blade? Hey a guy can dream right.

Walt Disney never made a genetically engineered Pirate

Glad to see another movie in the series.....but not sure about the new genetically engineered dinosaur

Cant tell for sure but it if you pause and play from 2:23-2:27 it looks like a Butaniku.

At 2:23 you can see the handle.

then you see it sticking out from his back. Due to the length I think its a short butaniku.

its hard to tell, but thats my guess:D

This movie looks fricken cool, cant wait. Love seeing knives in movies that are nice knives.

If you google "jurassic world screenshots" you will find a picture of the hunter carrying a short hunting knife in a leather sheath horizontally on his back.

That long thing on his back is a Marlin 1895. The knife I was talking about can't be seen in the trailer. At least I couldn't spot it.

Looking forward to this movie, the trailer looks great! I'm curious about the last part of the trailer though. It looks like the guy on the motorcyle was running with the velociraptors instead of from them! lol

Just wanted to kind of clear the air about the knife Chris Pratt has on his belt in the photos. A friend of mine made the knife. I was in his shop often during the month or so that he was working on it. His name is Steve Auvenshine from Kentucky. He has been making knives for longer than the 20 years that I have known him. He has also worked for the movie industry as an ARMORER and prop maker. You can check him out on IMDB. He has never had a website but if you google "Steve Auvenshine knives" you can see some of his work. Busse (swamp rat knives) may have a piece in the movie but it's not that one.
Sorry to rattle on so much,
Curtis

We sent quite a few knives in so perhaps they will show up somewhere.

Garth

Steve has been sworn to secrecy about his work on the knife and movie. But I will say the knife is in some pretty cool scenes and I have kidded him about making the first knife to ever skin a dinasour. (Don't quote me on that, I haven't seen the movie) He did not make the sheath. This is the only knife he made for the movie and they wanted an old world look. That is his specialty. FYI the handle is hard curly maple finished in an 18th century nitric acid method and the pins are a mosaic of his design. I look forward to seeing your knives which will undoubtably show up in the movie if they wanted quality and modern first class hunting and combat knives.
