This is just a bit different...I took some of my "marlap" (burlap in Marine Corps camo colors) and laid it up extra thick and put it on the knife with the layers perpendicular to the blade, instead of parallel like we normally see.

Let me know what you think.

I am wondering if it would be worth it to make it up for sale...it might add to the cost somewhat, but it is pretty distinct.

It may be cooler in brighter colors or with more contrast.

Looks awesome. A set of those scales would look real good on a 1911! any thought of ever making pistol grips out of that stuff?
