Working on a couple Joe P Kraikens, figured I'd post up some pics as I go. Most of these are spoken for.

These are all CPM 3V and chisel ground.

So I managed to get all of them HT'd and Cryoed yesterday. Here are a few pics.....

All wrapped up in foil.

Out of the oven being plate quenched

Out of the foil, nice and clean!

Everybody in the pool!

After the Cryo bath..

More pics tomorrow!

Very cool thread, Ben.
Great HT regimen and excellent value.
I really enjoy mine, they do feel indestructible in hand.
Will these be getting the PH style scabbards ?

Doug

I just went to Florida to a very fancy wedding

I did not bring my gun

I carried my Kwaiken with Sori in my Tux and it went great together :)

Love the pix, Ben.
You and others here have inspired me recently with your kwaiken (is that plural too?). A one-off gently referential experiment is gluing up tonight.

That quench stack is sick.

Man I'm honored :)

Great stuff buddy

I know I really like mine

Thanks. Glad I could inspire.
That Wilton vise came out of my grandpas old cabinet shop. It is bomb proof and really cool being able to use it in my shop. Works awesome for plate quenching.

Here is one of them with the flats cleaned up and the swedge ground in.

Finish ground and making my mark.

Ready to wrap!

I have been working on these, just keep forgetting to take pics!

Here I am finishing up the knot on a wrap, and the epoxy soaked. The handle gets completely saturated and end up rock solid with a natural look.

Took time to take some nice pics of one of them....This one is headed to a fellow forumite.

So the Hartsfield style sheaths are working out for you :)

That looks so great

I got a call today from a good friend that just received one of Bens Kwaikens

He said he liked it better than his Hartsfield....... Congrats Ben .....that's a hell of a compliment buddy

Congrats
