Some new Ka-Bars for the camp site.

The Camillus 125th Anniversary EDC, the Arclite, and the soon to be out Talonite EDC. Oops, time to place an order.

The Mike Tuber secret is out and they are hot. Two new entries for the awards. For some reason his booth was always crowded. Thanks Mike.

The Peter Lagana Tomahawk debuted at the American Tomahawk table.

Bobby Branton's throwing knives. You too can chunk some steel.

View

William Henry, need I say more. You can wipe the drool off your chin now.

Very nice pics. Thanks for posting 'em. Those William Henry's are nice. What is the handle material?

Jack

Is that a larger size drop point knife in the WH shot? Fully filigreed? Super Sweet, but I am waiting on the MNANDI!

The WH series is a silver handle material. Maybe someone with better info than I can enlighten you.

Not the best picture, but this Bill Simons stockman slip joint is super nice. Bill is from Lakeland, Florida and I have one of his in my collection. Plus, he is a heck of a nice guy.

Can you say, Whiplash!, Brad Duncan from Texas was taking orders on this bad boy. He claims to be new to the knife business, but I couldn't find anything wrong with his work.

View

Joshua Smith, Lincoln, Montana. You've seen this young man's work in the magazines but to actually hold one is a great pleasure. This award winning bowie is super!

View

Bobby Branton does drop points and boot knives too. Don't worry, I bet he can throw one of these as well.

Many people sought out this one. The Pendulum by Chris Caracci. An amazing, common sense defense tool.

There were SO many great knives at the show, it could have lasted a month and it would've been hard to see them all.

Hey MTF3, I need some more info on the Bill Simons Knives.
Does he have a web page?
What kind of steel does he use?
I need to find more high quality Trappers and that Stockman looks really nice. I assume he also makes Trappers.
Thanks,
Lenny

This is the sowbelly stockman he made for me. He used ATS-34 for the Blades, Stainless liners and bolsters, and some pretty jigged bone. The photograph isn't my best. He did some real nice file work on it. All the knives I have seen from him are really nice. Tell him I told you to call.

MTF3 -- thanks for the pics. Appreciate them. Do have a couple questions you may be able to answer.

First, re Mike Turber's knives, between my vision problems and the relatively small pics, I can't say for sure that I understand just what they are. Could you elaborate a bit please, particularly about the folder in the back?

And, re the talonit EDC, did anyone give a hint as to how much it would cost? And as to whether it would be the same size as the existing EDCs from Camillus?

Thanks,

So here i am, sitting at a computer, doing very little (as per usual), and suddenly, a number of things happen.

- My breathing accelerates
- My heart rate goes off the scale
- Sweat begins to pour from my body
- I start drooling on the keyboard

Can anyone guess why?

Two little words... "Talonite EDC"

Is it a Camillus? Same size? Other materials the same? Weight? Price?

James

MTF, Thank you sir for the awesome pics. I have never seen knives like those, let alone have a clue beyond ATS-34 what you fine Gentlemen are talking about. I have a safe thats filling with the good productioon stuff, saving my pennies for my Dieter CQDII, and then where do I go next????????
I want to start with one REAL auto, something glass case, special, custom, drool, put next to my unfired 1921 Thompson sub as the legacy to my oldest boy, and I have no clue....Sorry to sound like a knife-ROOKIE, but I am. So I am asking first and learning before I jump, because I already jumped once and when I looked I saw nothing but GROUND!!! Ouch.....Wolf

Guys,
Info on the TALONITE EDC and other new offering can be found here.....

http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum21/HTML/000718.html

But to "cut to the chase", the TALONITE EDC will be $220 suggested retail, same as the MiniTalon. It will be the same size as the current EDC, using the same frame and blade shape.

Its kewl,...way kewl. I've got the proto,a nd I'll try to get some pics this weekend.

Bugs3x, Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I believe Mike Tuber has started a thread in this forum about his new knives. I refer you to him.

Plus, I see Mr. Fennell himself has responded concerning the Talonite EDC. According to my books, Camillus has been making knives for more than a century and they are still moving forward. Talonite is awesome material. I enjoyed visiting thier booth last week in Atlanta.

The EDC Talonite

There is a thread starting on the American Tomahawk Company forum about the Caracci Pendulum. Chris is still working on production. It is an awesome defense piece.

Neil!
Man I looked all over for you at the show. Sorry you couldn't make it. Bill's creation for me is really nice. Hope we can get together soon. Keep making those great blades!
