I'm back!
Still wading through the inherited knives, kukri, and other assorted blades, bit by bit.
Stumped by the latest.
I didn't know if I should put this under COLD STEEL or SWORD topics, but...

Cold Steel Heavy Duty Sword Canes
SKU: CS-88SCFD

What in the world do I do with these?
They are new in box (boxes are a bit beat up, but canes are still in bubble wrap inside.

Can't sell on ebay or other platforms.
I certainly can't keep them and have no use for them.
I am in NC.
How to sell them for a good price in a legal and safe way?

Advice welcomed!

list them on ebay as swords NOT sword canes
do good photos properly
remove any mention of cane
I suggest a good price buy it now so they sell fast

I have a sword cane. It's a novelty item, that is built well.
Cold Steel was recently sold to a big Sports company. I don't know if your items will be discontinued. If they are it could make them easier to sell.
Supposedly there no more customer service, which could be a problem if any of the items are defective.

I would get a Gold membership. Most of the members here are straight shooters, especially if you are dealing with someone that has been here for awhile, and wants to maintain their good reputation.

You should be able to find these item's approximate value fairly easy by doing a Google search.

Is anyone able to explain how you get the sword out? I am pretending to walk with the cane and then trying to pull the sword out....and nothing happens. Is there some trick or twist? If I was attacked at this juncture, I'd be stuck explaining to the attacker: Please hold on a second while I try to figure out how to get this thing out of here! :-/

I'm pretty sure its just friction on that model, probably just sticky from sitting. Pull with some gentle twisting/wiggling (carefully).

I wouldn't advise spraying anything in the cane, or coating the blade with anything. Any type of lubricant in the "scabbard" would be very difficult to clean out.

If you're going to sell it, the new owner might not want a scabbard loaded with lubricant.
