...for no particular reason. :)

Guess most of them are familiar enough. Should find a better place for them, bit tucked away right now.

Glad to answer any questions. Most recent is the 110, $38 shipped overseas - quite the deal there.

You're welcome! Some of the knives were bought - or given as a relational gift - in their country of origin: I bought the Helle in Narvik; Norway, the Laguiole in Lourdes; France (I'm agnostic but not atheist ;)) , the Wenger slipjoint with the Patek Philippe logo was a gift at the PP factory in Geneva, and my $8 Mora fixed blade (not on the pic) which I bought a month ago... ...in the actual village of Mora, Sweden. Use it as an all-round kitchen knife at the moment.

The BM 690 (lower right) is the second one I own - the first was confiscated by the police in 2003. Reason? None. Random "pre-emptive search" including my car - I was merely on my way home. Got it "back" for a competitive price, pre-owned, no box, apparently never used, just two tiny scratches on the clip which I've had sandblasted out in our workshop already. Used to be my favorite and has that status again - gets out more than the Small Seb!

quality over quantity my man love the good selection of fixed blades also you do what I do I always keep my boxes.

whoa what is that tiny green knife behind the Sebbie? Excellent photo!

Thanks! It actually is a pewter, jacket-pin (is that even English?) decorative miniature of the Spyderco Lum Chinese in the foreground. :D The two pins sit right behind it so they distort its visuals a bit here. The miniature "hunting folder" keychain-knife on its left actually is functional, quite well-made and after a bit of work I put in it, razor-sharp.

Now lets see the watch collection ;)

What's the knife to the right of the Sebenza? Is it a Buck Alpha Dorado?

Nope, a William Henry 05 Cocobolo. From their, discontinued, Japanese-made (VG-10 as could be expected) International series; similar knives are now being made by Fallkniven - which as you may know are all from Japan nowadays. Probably same production line as the WH's, even. Very nice knife with black clip-sheath, very sheeple-friendly as well.

I want to see those Breitlings too :p:thumbup:

Yeah, me too. ;) Ain't got the cash for any of them, I'm afraid - even at a 45% list discount. My last month at Breitling BTW - I won't elaborate but all involved think it's the best thing. My future might be in the UK, but that's still in the rough sketches-stage. Would be quite a blow to taking out most of the knives pictured here, with the UK's retarded laws on this subject. :grumpy:

Just got the nylon 110 sheath in that I ordered - may actually start carrying it in this, horizontally on the belt.

Well if it's your last month there I could do with an other Superocean ;)

Also, all those knives are fine to own in the UK. Owning knives is not a problem (yet:rolleyes:), it's just carrying them in public where the retarded laws come into play.

I know. The fun for me is to wear them (except the fixed blades which are very much frowned upon almost everywhere) and use them whenever I need them. "Public" includes one's own car, as I have read on British Blades. The same as here, basically... I'd consider taking off the clips and switch to deep-pocket carry. I do realize the penalties are gross - up to 6 months I believe.

Hello Watchmaker -

Beautiful collection! Thank you for the picture.

best regards -

Which two spydies are at the very bottom?

A recent Lum Chinese in Imperial Jade Green, and a discontinued Delica CF; #260 out of 600. Both in VG-10. The Lum is a great knife to handle and a real slicer. I did carry out some smoothening of the edges all around and improved the lubrication of the pivots, which were pretty much dry. Got it right after the small Seb and it makes you realize why there's a price-gap between the two. The Delica is just stunning to look at but doesn't get much jeans-time. :D
