isnt finished yet i got alot of work to do on the edge of the blade yet and im not to happy with the fingure cut out behind the blade edge. Use 010 high carbon steel for the blade and to rough out the blade i used a small gauge drillpress to drill perfs of the profile then simply poped the blade out. For removeing the drill perf marks i used a big heavy bastard cut file. edge at this point is just flat filed. Need to get a hollow grind done on it cant do one my self no tooling for it.

Comments and tips on how to hollow grind or put a nice looking useable edge more than welcome. total length is 12 inches
 
That's coming along pretty well, good shape, the tang is good and the blade is well profiled. I would not try to hollow grind it. Try to flat grind first. You can file this flat with a file. It will be a lot of work on a knife this size but I've done it.

I think i will go with a flat grind on this though carrying the edge back maybe 1/2 a inch or around that. The blade is realy thin.
