That sheath is awesome! Probably not the highlight of the picture, but still..

It was made by survival sheath's maybe 3 years ago, called a clamshell sheath.

Kinda looks like the buttstock might be hollow...is there any room in there to store stuff? If so what do you keep in there besides ammo? Will that 410 also fire a 45LC? Lastly who makes it?

David

I don't think this one is supposed to fire 45lc. It holds I believe 15 22 shells and 4 shotguns shells in the stock. It is a springfield m6 which in no longer made.

Must have that Becker!!!

What one is it? I know they aren't in the KaBar production yet.

It is the becker brute and no, kabar is not producing them.

Dad used to talk about shooting 410's in a 45-70 but I dont think you can fire 45lc in a 410. Barrel is too thin to handle the pressure. Springfield dont make that anymore? Well Crud! Guess I need to start looking at gun shows..wanted on of those for a long time but have never found one at a dealer.

There are a few firearms that are built to chamber both the .45LC and .410. The Taurus Judge is one, and there were a couple of longarms also. The H&R Survivor is one:http://www.hr1871.com/Firearms/ShotgunsAndRifles/survivor.aspI wish I had picked up a M6 when they were priced reasonably, now that they are out of production, the prices are pretty steep. Nice set up all around, W!
