just a question, not a complaint

I have no issues with the fit and finish on my FSH:thumbup:   , but I was wondering if anybody had what looks to be like a burned place on the edge of their blades?I noticed it after I got the knife back from the Busse custom shop. Its on the what I would consider to be the back side of one of the serrations I had put on the blade. I know that pics would help but honestly the area is so small it probably wouldn't show up... as I stated above this is not a complaint at all just wondering if in fact this is a "burned" area on the edge? and if it is a common thing. Also if it is common does anybody know if it can be removed in time with use or a metal polish like Flitz or something

I have something similar on a custom that I had done years ago (with serrations) ....It was not very noticeable and I didn't think anything of it.

normally I wouldn't think anything of it but I am a little OCD about my knives:o

HA! thanks for the compliment, it is a great looking knife and as of right now it's my favorite. We'll see if its still my favorite after the Anni comes out...:D

Flitz works great , you can use it by hand or with polishing wheel , dremel tool ect. I've had great luck with it . It doesn't take much .

probably from the grinding or wheel. ive seen a couple with "burn" marks on the edge.

Your knife is defective. Please send it to me right away! hahahaha...

What Morimotom said!

Evidently just part of the charm.

I have a Busse ZT, BM (I think, certainly one of my ZTs) that is prominently burned or Discolored at the tip.
