Did the Second Generation Badger Attack Ergo ever come in Infi? Or was it only Combat Grade and SR101?

If not.... Dang, an Infi version would be a very sweet and stout little blade!

Thx.
Lawrie

I believe all of the BAE2 were CG INFI with the 'BUSSE' logo indicating Combat Grade INFI, not the BG logo of:
Busse SR-101
Battle Grade

And yes, they are a sweet and stout little blade. ;)

Thanks Tim and Garth.

So I guess I'm on the hunt for an INFI BAE2 then.

I don't recall the offering... Can anyone let me how long ago this was?

again, thanks for the info.

Lawrie

Offered late last year (just before Christmas I think mate) and shipped around May/June I think.

I got one in my last grab bag. The pic is in that thread, I'm at work so I can't post it here right now.

Don't feel too bad. I bought two, and then found out they didn't really fit my hands all that well.

Me too, the BATAC is one of my favorites and I would love to have one in .22. The BATAC LE is great, but at .26 it is a little much for me. So, when I saw the specs on the new ergo I ordered 2 thinking they would be my dream knife. I still have them, but can't make myself love them.

I feel that the BAE2 is superior to the BATAC in regards to the handle design, use it and you might come to the same conclusion…

It feels pretty good in hand to me. I just got it yesterday evening, so haven't had the chance to use it yet.

To me, the feel of the handle is great on the BAe2, but less versatile than that of the BATAC (BG is all I have of that model). One BAe2 was enough of that design, and I had to modify the grip to suit me, be more versatile. I have since then obtained 3 BATAC BG. So, yeah, BAe2 actually feels better, but BATAC gets used more because of versatility.

That's how I feel about my .18 BATAC. Great all arounder, light and easy to carry in the woods. I do need to try one of the BAE2's and give it a chance, they are comfortable in the hand.

.... I have both (in multiples), the BEe2 is great but the BATAC - to me- is still better.

Any chance of Comparison Pics? I'm actually still not that clear on the differences.... Is it just the Ergo handle??.... sorry, I'm a bit special...

Those are CG BATACs on the ends, a BG BATAC in the middle, and BA-Es at positions 2 and 4.
