Today I finally got out of the house for a while again, to shoot more photos for my flora / fauna data base. Thought I'd share a few pics that give a bit of a glimpse into the process of Passionflower pods becoming Passionflowers, and Passionflower ovaries becoming Passion fruit.

Thanks for the splash of color Brian. I always think that you live in your own private arboretum. I love to see the variety of leaves, flowers and wild edibles that you capture so well in your pictures.

Very cool as always Brian. Love seeing that patina on the BC Jr. and also the colors of your pictures. Have a great weekend and thanks for sharing.

Thank you Phil, glad you enjoyed the post. Not my own unfortunately, but I feel at home there. I've been studying the particular 27,000 acre arboretum for most of my life :)

Thanks man. Yeah, I sort of sped the patina along on this one, to help it be better prepared for life here in the rain forest. Though we are definitely in our dry season now.

A quick glimpse is worth a thousand words. That's a cool transformation......thanks for sharing !

You really captured that transformation well. Beautiful pics! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Hasco. I actually have a MUCH more drawn out series of photos in the course of creating the database, that shows the steps of first vine growth to first pods that are very small, pollination etc., I just thought the condensed version would show the transformation pretty well and be more entertaining. I won't even include them all in the slide show, just the best ones of the necessary ones.

Thank you sir. Yes, trying to get the patina developed pretty heavy before the end of summer when the autumn mists and rains set in.

Wonderful pics my friend.

Thank you Andy, very glad you enjoyed them!
