Howdy folks, I thought you might think this is interesting. Below is a pick of my HI Khukuri's on a ruled mat with a piece of tape at the balance point.
Top to bottom
18" 24oz DUI chirra by Thamar (I measured 19")
18" 34oz tin chirra by Tirtha
16" KLVUK
15" AK by Bura

Its crazy to me that the 24 and 34 oz khuhuri's move almost as quick as each other with a 10oz difference! All because of the balance point, I think.

The Kamis do an amazing job of balancing out each individual knife. I really like that Tirtha TC! I have never seen one with a Chiruwa handle like that. Thanks for sharing. I personally find the evolution of these knife designs and the interpretation of each kami very interesting, so I love to see picks from others.

Love that DC and anything Bura, but honestly that KLVUK is what sings to me outta that bunch. Probably the nicest I've seen! EMS :b

And it is amazing how different 2 blades of the same specs can feel, and how similar 2 blades of different specs can feel. It's part of the reason I have such a hard time explaining to people what specs to look for.
