I am always looking for deals and good buys. sometimes I find a knife that needs a little work or maybe one side of the handles need replacing. My question is arre there repair shops or craftsmen that do that kind of work. And if so how to contact them. Thanks folks.

Nice work. I've found a knife that has stag scales and one side broken. debating on whether to get it or not. Now I'll try for it. It's a good name knife nice size folding drop point that never been honed.Bill DeShivs is kinda a legend for doing that

There is a sub-forum in The Exchange called Knifemakers Marketplace - Knives and More For Sale where all sorts of things are bought and sold. One of the sections is Wanted Knifemaker/Craftsman/Related Services. You can post a request there and the fellows who do that sort of work may answer you with contact info. You may see a similar previous request and get with someone that way, too. In the same place there is a sub-forum called, The Custom Shop - Services Offered, where folks like Bill Deshivs and others offer various services and repairs.
