Just a quick story of good customer service

A week or so ago I sent a message through the Hinderer website asking some general questions. I got a reply from Rick in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday, that's what I call customer service! I've had similar experiences with Rob Orlando also. I've contacted other companies with questions and never received such a fast response. I just want to say Hinderer is A+ in my book.
 
Yeah.......I've had the same experience many times (although never a response from Rick).......
It's just another thing to love about RHK.......awesome knives......awesome people....:D
 
I've had mixed experiences, mostly failure to ever reply. But for the most part they are prompt.

I read that a few times, it really doesn't make sense. You can't say there is "mostly a failure to reply" and "for the most part they are prompt". That is like saying "I mostly vote liberal on issues but I vote conservative for the most part".

Ok let me reword that. RHK occasionally has failed to reply to my emails; However, when I do receive a reply it is very prompt.
 
I emailed Rob once on a Friday evening about getting a couple of filler tabs, expecting a reply sometime the following week. Instead, he replied that very evening at about 10! Now that's customer service.
 
I've had nothing but stellar service from RHK. It's one of the many reasons why I choose to use and collect their products.
 
It's (funny) to me how duped some of us can be by technology - that it is easier to trust "it" over people.

I have actually had people say to me "Why didn't you respond to my text?" or a client "Why did you ignore my email?"

In the few situations that I really cared enough to defend myself, I showed them my phone or computer and the empty inbox and said, "Do you really think IF I had received it, I would have ignored it? and if so, Why?"
Technology is not perfect and I can assure anyone and everyone - IF RHK gets your email/PM/text/Carrier Pigeon......You will get a reply and it will be timely and candid.
Perhaps those who may not always respond to emails "assume" that others do the same...... maybe;)
