Just a Reminder

I thought while I was playing I would make a reminder to everyone heading to the woods. Add an ICE card to your gear. (In Case of Emergency) The information on the card could help someone help you in case anything happens.

Terrill - good advice and reminder. Many Public Safety agencies are now promoting you put a contact under the name ICE in your cell phone too.
 
Great advise, Thanks. I never thought of that. That would be much better than just depending on a state DL or ID. Since most of the info in mine is only updated when I renew it.
 
That is great to be reminded of, my daughter goes off to a 2 week summer camp in Northern Wisconsin with her sense of direction she needs to carry all emergency info. Whistle,filshlight...pocket tactical of course,small SAK with a metal match too. Thanks for the tip.

Prince of Peace, good thinking. I've always have been thinking of this for hunters and hikers and have not even thought of kids. It actually makes even more sense for them.
 
Terril I would rather add that nice bolt action if you have already answered I,ll read the other posts . What is the little door on the butt-stock for ?
. Your ice idea has merit under most conditions .
 
Oh thats sweet . It actually bugs me when people say sweet but thats just sweet . I,m gonna see if they got a buttstock like that for my Marlin .

Thats not only sweet its practical .
 
I,m not small and I choke up on my Marlin 30-30 to not get smacked by the scope . I put on a slip on shotgun recoil reducer as a spacer but it looks Mickey mouse . This raises all kinds of possibilities .

I,m more of a traditional archery hunter . That freezer is looking mighty empty . It might be time to get the lever gun out .

Ah it was too good to be true . They were nice to look at .

They must change the balance of a short rifle like a Marlin 30-30 ? Is the butt stock any longer ? That is one consideration that made it desireable . I guess I,ll go on vacation instead . Thanks for the nice pics and innovative idea .
