Nice job on the sheath. The off center loop doesn't seem like that much of an issue.

2 questions:
1) I'm wondering if you used one piece of leather folded over and then trimmed what was necessary?
2) Did you wet the leather with cold, hot, or boiling water to help form it around the knife?
+1) and what were you smoking?

I just made my 1st sheath for my Buck 301 and it looks a bit embarrassing, but with a few modifications and as long as it stays in the pocket it'll do the trick.

thanks,

Ken

1. Yes it can be done.

2. Cold water. I haven't tried experimenting with different temperatures.

I was smoking a Swisher, I think. I was smoking those in an attempt to get off cigarettes.
