Please be patient while I ramble on about a stoopit idea that was burbling in the back of my unused brain....

Me personally, I don't go in for the whole "GIRLS WITH GUNS" posters,calendars,videos...whatever....ladies discharging guns, scantilly dressed, recoil causing wardrobe malfunction is neither informative nor entertaining. And in some cases it is down right unsafe and negligent.

Don't get me wrong...I like girls just fine. But I am a Daddy, and I don't think anybody's "baby" should ought to get naked to earn a living.

The knife industry has followed suit in small ways, really small, thankfully. There are some folks who go in for that, even when it is done as "art".

Keep reading.

Having said all that....I simply adore the threads on the BUSSE forum that are heavy with great pics of great blades.

And yes I would cough up $20 to get a calendar with quality "knife of the month" photos.

And it would not be to awafully bad to see BUSSE staff, (fully clothed)using BUSSE knives.

Probably this has already been considered ...but I had to say something.

Mr. Moderator...you can kill this if it is just too far off base.

I don't care what he's wearing as long as it's my knife he's sharpening. :cool:

I like your idea, Shane. I'd be in for a calendar featuring some high-res glamour pics and imaginative staged shots of Busse's, with or without human models. :thumbup:
 
I think a yearly Busse Combat calendar would be cool. Doesn't even need people in the shots, completed knives and shop shots showing work in progress, machining processes etc. I could get on board with tracking my days of the year using a Busse calendar.

Geeze.... and here I was going to post up those pics of me laying back on a rock wearing nothing but my best Budgie Smugglers and surrounded by ASH1s...... ;)
 
It is nice to work for a company that uses product performance to sell and not bikini clad models. Plus seeing the guys in a Speedo would cause trauma that can not be reversed.
 
Here I was thinking I would retire from the profits made selling "Andy's Hot Steel" calendar !!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
