I've been a member here after stumbling on this site while doing a Google search about 110 history.

Since then, I have learned more about Buck and their knives than I had in the 35 years or so of my using 'em. But, more important, to me anyway, is the quality of men that I have met here that have always been helpful and patient in sharing and answering.

I am humbled when I read some of the sincere comments and kindness from those that I have known here and respect.

Well, I'm getting all poodle eyed.
I just wanted to say "thank you".

Love and Respect,
Goose.

Oh, to avoid chit chat penalty: I used my 882/9 to cut up some beef ribs I grilled.

Hey Goose,
You can thank everyone by attending the 2008 BCCI 20 year anniversary bash in Post Falls! :D Come on Goose.....Ya know you want to!
Mike

Yep 'Goose, I'm lookin forward to meeting you in person. You help keep all this learning interesting.

I haven't been here long, Goose, but you have made me feel right at home. It is people like you that make the forum, indeed the whole world, a better place to live. Be well my friend and thank you for your wit and kindness.

Oh ya...knife content. A sharp knife is a happy knife.

One, if not the first, posts I threw up was to help you expand your 'disclaimer list', 'Goose!
It is a joy to banter all things Buck and your immeasurable contribution to the Forum is just that. 'Nuff said-

Goose you are a blast to hear from,I wish I had a 1/4 of your humor.
Knowledge is always gained by listening and reading.....may not be any good but it is still knowledge.:D

Marvin & All,

Goose you are one of the funniest long necks I know...and have never met face to face...LOL...you always make me laugh brother and that is a rare commodity in this life of hard knocks. This place is my home away from home and I consider you all to be my extended Buck family. Now to keep this PC...my favorite Buck knife is any one of them with a sharp blade....and they all have sharp blades....:)

Goose: One thing I have enjoyed about your Posts are your outstanding pictures of various knives. You have a good camera, proper lighting, and know about background. So, I salute your pictures, as well as your Web Site. Well done. Now if you would just straddle the Harley and tool to Utah, we could meet and I could send you on some memorable rides. Bring your camera.

Goose,

You were one of the first to welcome me to the forum and make me feel at home. You also got me hooked on an 889 by posting pics of your then new SBMF. Thanks!

Goose, I feel the same way. I have gotten so much from this great group I want to repay them.

This is the best place to come and unwind.

Thanks,
John

Ditto all of that -- been traveling a bit... need to post some Buck activity seen in the north maine woods. This is an AWESOME forum :thumbup:
