I was watching L&O CSI dvd late last night and starts to link my thoughts.
The new fusion series of Busse handle, surface are so rugate compare with classic handles. Are those CSI police able to get the finger print out of Busse fusion handle?

Well...just a thought of watching too much TV.

I am sure all HOGs are BAD but behave!

Generally speaking the rougher the material's surface, the more difficult it is to raise a print, especially with traditional powders. The trick where they expose an item to the vapors from super glue may be able to raise a print even from a fusion handle, but I have no practical experience with it.
 
Are you planning on doing something with a FBM or FSH that you are going to "regret" later on? :confused:
 
The CSI folks on TV can do just about anything. Us mere mortals without a script to read from have a little more difficulty. With the amount of ridges and gaps in the fusion handle it would be extremely difficult regardless of the measures used and then being able to make a court presentation with the required identifying characteristics, probably not. Of course theoretically we could pull DNA which that handle would probably be ideal for.
 
Might be able to pull a reasonable partial off the bottom of the handle or tang, which is much smoother. ????
