I wonder why Bear Gryllis or Survivorman have never used a Rat "ESEE" knife on their tv shows yet? :confused:

They never have asked about them. Our knives are being featured in the upcoming 2011 movie BATTLE: LOS ANGELES and we also just sent out a load of knives for the shooting of TRANSFORMERS 3, so they're getting some expeosure in film at least.

I actually appreciate the fact that Les Stroud gravitates towards cheap and available knives. It shows that you don't have to spend a fortune on a knife you CAN use for survival even if it wasn't designed for it. And Bear has that crazy expensive thing of his. :rolleyes:

SWEET!!! :thumbup::cool::thumbup:

Maybe he does'nt appreciate quality.But,it's probably because he's not a knife enthusiest.

The man gave himself an enema on a raft and relates survival to constantly climbing and descending things, eating things that are a coin toss on whether it would kill you or not and interacting with things that he should completely avoid. Everyone says “well it’s for entertainment value”. I don’t even find it entertaining. YMMV.

I don't find it entertaining either; not to mention the fact that if someone actualy tried the crap he does they could be seriously injured or die.

As well as trying about half of the rest of the stuff they show on TV. With that said, I think anyone who does go outside the realm of common sense and tries to apply some of the tactics seen on TV are probably doing us a favor. Darwin.

i'd like to see esee come out with a dvd showing stuff they do in their training classes for those of us who can't go out there in alabama to take a class. similar to the magpul ar-15 & handgun dvd as an example. no fancy editing or music required although a hottie or two showing us the techniques would be nice :D

Yeah, Darwin got one thing right, the idiots will remove themselves from the gene pool! Bear Grylls's show is more like Stuntman v. Wild.

Bear used to carry the cheapest version of the Gerber Gator. Can't imagine he is all that worked up about carrying the best survival knives in the world.

There was talk of this. I think Matthew McConaughey was going to play Jeff. They thought if Jeff and Mike were really in the video that women would just look at them as pieces of meat and not respect them for their outdoor skills.

Seems Jeff prefers to be on the other side of the camera.

Really? Who'd you send them too? Props Dep right?
Hey Jeff, if I draw an Esee5 into one of my works to be printed for a poster for my car garage or art room where I do alot of my designing and graphics, its ok right? Theres no sale, no public exhibition or anything, I just usually draw alot scan HUGE, and clean on PS-CS, and color. Or I draw from scratch on PS using a tablet, and color, but I usually draw to scale, or 2-3x larger :D depending how I want my prints.

I keep hearing from the art pod/group I work with, a game called Metal Gear, is in limbo for production as a film, I'd love to see Esee stuff in that :D woo hoo! Than I can bring my own and slyly place in parts of the film O:) hahahahaa.

Ok. over it, but yah, if I draw my knives into my artwork, you won't hunt me down and kill me right? I just wanted to ask before I did it.
